You Inspire Me: Refillable

I was reading an article on EarthDay.org and got to know that at least 14 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year. It is estimated that about 1 million marine life is lost every year due to plastic pollution. Going by the statistics again, it is estimated that 50% of the plastic that is produced is for single use. 380M tons of plastic is produced per year. If I just look around me, I see that we have miles to go in terms of sustainable living. I was looking for alternative solutions for my home care needs and that’s when I came across Refillable, an Indian startup that is focused on Refill revolution and like they say “to untrash the planet”.

In this episode, I talk to one of the co-founders of Refillable, Rahul Batra and we discuss about how their journey started, how the team is making a difference, what keeps them going and how we can take tiny little steps in safeguarding our planet.
